Come meet Daily Driver’s Matcha tea partners! Kori Saika Chen (Piano Black Trade Co.) and Kunikazu Mochitani (LEAF Co.) will be visiting Daily Driver and would like to educate the public about their authentic quality Matcha tea from Shizuoka, Japan by demonstrating the of making Matcha and by serving samples.
LEAF Co. Ltd is a company working with numerous Matcha farmers in Japan and has a mission to increase the Shelf Shade Matcha farm concept. Our farm has solar panels shading the tea fields and coupled with shade curtains, manages the photosynthesis of our tea plants to create a high quality Matcha. Controlling photosynthesis by shading the plants is an authentic quality control method for producing quality Matcha, and by adding solar panels creates clean, renewable energy. In this way we can shade the plants and also send this generated power back over the power grids, making our product very unique and Eco-friendly.
Piano Black Trade Co., based in Oakland, CA, sources high quality organic teas directly from farmers in Japan. We aim to execute products and experiences of the highest quality and service, while being a positive force in our communities. “Consider the World Deeply.”
