To our community —
In an effort to do our part to bring some warmth and comfort as we experience more social distancing as COVID-19 precautions expand, and to help alleviate stress about sourcing healthy organic food for your family, we have expanded our menu on DoorDash by and are offering students 15% off any in-store or call-ahead orders for pickup. Any medical professionals receive 25%. No discount code required — just let us know at checkout.
We want to make sure you & your family stay well and eat well during this time, and that we can provide the resources you need. We’ve prepared pre-packed half dozens with cream cheese, have plenty of roasted coffee, fresh squeezed organic OJ, and are still making nutritious, fresh bagels.
Currently, both our locations remain open. We’ve reduced our Ferry Building hours to be 8am-3pm daily, and our Dogpatch location hours remain (7am-3pm daily, closed Tues). We are working vigilantly to ensure that all of our staff members remain healthy and take extra precaution as they prepare your food, are providing hand sanitizer stations, and we’ve upped our cleaning and sanitizing routines in our locations, especially common shared spaces. We’re glad to serve as your work from “home” space; we have wifi, games (and cleaners for them), and have spread out our tables and chairs to allow you to be productive and safe. Fortunately, one of our owners is a surgeon at UCSF, and he is keeping us updated and informed on the daily state of affairs.
In whatever way we can get you fed and nourished during this time, we will. You can order delivery or pickup through DoorDash, give us a call to order ahead to have your regular sandwich prepared and ready for pickup with your name on it, or reserve dozens, quick-6 prepacks, coffee or OJ, or if you need us to run something out to you when you stop by.
Do remember that our bagels, butter, and coffee beans all freeze well. We hope that our efforts, products, and community space can serve as a source of comfort and reliability for you and yours during this time.
We are here for you, and appreciate your support of our small business during this time, too. If you’re able, please consider purchasing a gift card online to treat yourself at future time when we can all join together again, buy an extra sleeve of bagels for a neighbor who may not be able to run out for themselves, and above all take care of yourselves and one another.
